HELICOPTER EXCURSIONS

A helicopter is one of the finest ways to access some of the most remote locations off the beaten track. You can go fishing in the glacial lakes on Mt Kenya, visit the sand dunes in the north, fly up the Great Rift Valley with flamingo filled lakes, have breakfast on a mountain ridge and so much more.

BOAT RIDES

Kenya is home to 64% (9.50%) of the total lakes in the African continent. Eight of them make up the main lakes in the Kenyan rift valley. They include lake Turkana, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, lake Nakuru, lake Logipi, lake Elementaita, lake Naivasha and Lake Magadi. Only lake Baringo and lake Naivasha are fresh water lakes, the rest are poorly drained hence alkaline rich in the blue green algae that feeds crustaceans and flamingos. The rift valley lake system has some of the most diverse bird population in the world with some threatened and endemic species found here. The lands around the lakes roam herds of buffalo, Rothschild giraffe, rhino, greater kudu among other plains game. A boat ride in lake Naivasha gets you closer to the pods of hippos and the amazing birdlife
