Its best to begin planning well in advance possibly one year especially if you wish to book during peak season. It ensures availability of best guides and space at the best camps and lodges
Many families bring children six years and above but occasionally we have had younger children on very successful safaris
We sometimes take just one person travelling alone and sometimes groups of up to sixty people. Mostly we take groups of friends or family. Our itineraries will include activities suitable for different ages

There is no best time of the year for a safari. The busiest time due to school vacations and holidays are Christmas and new year and from early June to the end of August during the Great wilder beast migration in the Maasai Mara
